The storm the night before brought a wind to Buenas Aires that gave us a little relief from the heat. Granted, Sofia lost her hat to it's wild nature but we were able to walk for ages and discover markets, art galleries, churches and plazas.
It's an incredible mix of chaos, beauty, homeless dogs, culture, broken footpaths and decaying buildings. Young mothers breastfeeding outside corner stores in SanTelmo to colorful graffiti to the shady treelined streets of Recoleta.
I'm still not sure if l'm a fan or just too old to appreciate it's eclectic feel.
