How to strengthen your relationship

Yes .... today is our 70th day on the road.

It's been such an exciting adventure as our piccies and posts can attest to, however you also need to consider the challenges of spending each and every day with your partner.

So here are 2 tips that I've learnt over the last 2 and a bit months on how to strengthen your relationship:

1. When arriving in a foreign country/ city for the first time and neither of you actually speaking the language, DO NOT include a sat nav when your rent a car. By asking every person every 100 metres for directions, you not only get to know the locals but slowly improve your understanding of the language. You also improve your map reading skills and discover teeny tiny places that most tourists never have the pleasure of visiting.

2. Stopping every 500m/1km to take photos not only results in fabulous shots to include on the blog, but also aids in the delicate art of improving one's patience. It may mean arriving a couple of hours later than anticipated, but revert back to the comment on 'photos'.

Cheers!
Charlie
